I want to cut my hair short! HELP, suggest a style... Thanks

I am a 25 years old, married and hispanic. I have this long natural black hair and have had it now for 3 years. It is layered and naturally curly. I feel is time for a change, I am tired of the same hairstyles, trying anything else hurts my arms, is uncomfortable to sleep, gets in the way and is now too hot for it. Being in Florida I think it is a good time of the year to try something short/medium, not boy short or chin short, but something a little above my shoulders. My husband loves my hair being up in high pony tails, and he also likes it down starightened, but is in agreement of me trying something new. My hair grows really really fast, so if we end up not liking it, I won't have a problem growing it back out.

What hairstyles do you suggest?

Oh, and a few years back I used to highlight my hair blonde, but ended up growing it out. I been thinking if I should get highlights when I cut it short, what do you think? If so which color? I don't really think I was blonde again...

Hello, I have the similar face structure as yours and strange enough my hair is lightly curly and wavy too (though I don't have a gorgeous skin like you). So I thought maybe I could give you some ideas how I approached in finding a new hairstyle back then when I wanted to get a new hairstyle so badly.

Try to figure out what kind of hairstyles you like - length, color, style: dramatic, trendy, simple, easy etc? Ask yourself how much time and afford you're willing to give yourself daily to maintain the hairstyle of your choice; is it difficult too maintain/stylish the style yourself? With some ideas of your own plus some suggestions from a professional hair dresser (ask them if the hairstyle of your choice would fit to your face shape and how much work in maintaining the hairstyle daily) would be a great way to help you finding the perfect haircut for you.

The first hairstyle is simple and elegant with not much work daily to maintain. The 2nd one is sexy with nice volume and light layers. The 3rd one is hot and trendy and currently I have this hairstyle with layers and front bang. Fortunately it looks good on me and I don't have to put much work to maintain it daily (just blow dry my hair after shower with my head pointing down to the ground to get the volume, then a touch of natural hair oil, then I'm set to go).

About your hair color. I think you should keep to your natural color, because it embrace your beautiful smooth looking skin and gives you that natural beauty, besides dyeing your hair is extremely bad for your hair (speaking from my own experience, it took me years of care to get my somewhat healthy hair) and it's also bad for your health as well. But if you really want to dye your hair, then i think brunette/dark or medium brown would look good on you, and then there are highlights as well.

I think I really like the 3rd style, as for volume, I don't think I will need to try getting it, my hair is thick and once I get out of the shower after washing it and blow dry quickly or let it air dry (which is what I mostly do) it's everywhere, I think this style will work well for me. I will take your advice on dying it, I will keep it natural, I really didn't look forward to going every 6 weeks to dye my roots lol
