Women expected to freeze eggs in future

A small number of women in Britain have had their eggs frozen to preserve their fertility because of a medical condition, but only a handful of cases have been done for lifestyle reasons, the Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

Eggs are harder to freeze than sperm because they contain more water and using current technology, there is a danger an egg may be damaged in the process.
